PICC Line Illustrations

In collaboration with the Vascular Access Team at BC Children's Hospital, a series of illustrations were developed to meet the needs of the Pediatric IV Outpatient Therapy (PIVOT) program. The illustrations were created as graphical assets for their development of patient and family education materials, with a focus on how peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines function in relation to the patient's anatomy, how to care and manage PICC lines at home, and steps to take if an emergency with the PICC line occurs.
